Overview
The vast lowlands of Limpopo are distant, deeply isolated, and poorly understood. Isolated beyond the Kategonia Mountains and the Demon Wastes from interaction with most of the rest of the world, very few people come and go from Limpopo, and the cultures that have arisen there have done so along paths that are substantially divergent from other places on the continent, especially over the last few centuries since the expansion of the Demon Wastes has led to a near-total cutoff from communication and exchange with outsiders.
Limpopo, broadly the name of a sequence of large historical empires and currently a large nation in and of itself, is actually composed of a variety of kingdoms as diverse and varied as western Eurus or the Coda, but whose details are less well known or understood.
The people are largely Outlander and Human, but substantial minorities of Canid and Felinae are also present within the kingdoms of Limpopo. Additionally, there are subregions with strong goblinoid minorities as well, and a scattering of all the races in evidence. The land ranges from semi-arid in the north to coastal plains, foothills, even forested mountains in the south.
