Allaxites are a recently emerged group that shows characteristics marking them as connected to Demon-kind. Though a few such people have always existed, a large number of people around the world suddenly manifested these traits in 2024. Allaxites have prominent horns, and may also have unusually-colored skin (see makeup section below). Though demonic in appearance, they are not directly descended from demons, but rather influenced by demonic magic. This can be the result of magical misfortune, old family mistakes or bargains, proximity to dangerous magical events involving demons, or even an unusual side effect of consuming demon-altered substances. Demons are almost universally despised, leading to harsh treatment of Allaxites, especially when they first became widely visible. A few prominent individuals worldwide have since revealed their Allaxite nature, attempting to show the public that their kind are not infected, dangerous, or working with demons. | |||
